Job Description

Williston, VT based Engineers Construction, Inc. (ECI) has an opening for a Surveyor with at least 5 years of experience. Must understand survey principles/techniques, and have ability to work independently, traverse construction sites and operate Robotic Total Stations, data collectors and GPS survey units.

Required Education: Associates Degree in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering Technology, Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities will include:

Perform fieldwork for road, bridge, utility, and building stakeouts.
Computations related to construction stakeout.
CAD/Drafting
Keeping detailed field notes of stakeout activities.
Downloading and processing survey data.
Communicating and helping to set project schedule with project manager(s)

Location:              Williston, VT with assignments throughout New England and New York.
Rate of Pay: Commensurate with experience. Overtime after 8 hours per day. Additional compensation for overnight, shift or night work.
