LPN School Nurse

One of our clients is seeking a School Nurse (LPN) for service with medically fragile students in Bridgeport, CT and the surrounding area.

HOURS
* Per Diem available immediately
* Ongoing Cases starting July 1 for summer school + next school year
* $42/hr

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide professioanal support to school personnel, parents, and children.
* Provide direct care to students
* Observe students for development and health patterns to provide a nursing judgment and/or diagnosis.
* Implement plans for students with chronic health problems and coordinate the administration of medication within state law and Board policies.
* Demonstrate effective skills of listening, speaking, and writing.
* Accompany children on field trips.
* Assess health complaints and care for students with special healthcare needs.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* LPN license
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to complete and satisfactorily complete given background checks
