Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Internet Sales/BDC Manager to join our sales teams at our Columbus, GA and Mobile Bay, Alabama dealerships. The person in this role, will be responsible for managing our online sales initiatives and coordinating activities within the business development center. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills;
- A strong understanding of online sales processes, and the ability to effectively manage leads and customer inquiries;
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Internet Sales Business Development Center (BDC) (including responding to online inquiries, emails, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner);
- Coordinate with sales team members to ensure seamless communication and follow-up on leads generated through online channels;
- Monitor and track online leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate data entry and updating of customer information in the CRM system;
- Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales, including conducting market research, analyzing trends, and identifying new opportunities for growth;
- Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to optimize online presence and generate quality leads through various digital channels;
- Provide regular reports and analysis on online sales performance, including lead conversion rates, sales trends, and customer feedback;
- Assist in training and on-boarding new team members on online sales processes and best practices; and
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continually improve the effectiveness of the BDC;
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years of automotive BDC Rep/Internet Sales/Customer Service experience.
- Call center and telemarketing experience a plus.
- 2 years of sales and management experience a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays, Holidays, and evenings.
- Strong appointment setting, objection handling skills and closing skills.
- CRM and computer experience.
- Have a love of motorcycles.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
