Jr. Engineer/CANES IRD Drafter
Location: San Diego, CA or Charleston, SC
Boarhog LLC is seeking a Jr. Engineer supporting the development of Navy Networks Shipboard Network Installation Requirements Drawings (IRDs). This position will work closely with the US Navy Networks (PMW-160) Installation Engineering team to review, modify, update, and create drawings for Shipboard C4I Networks. Candidate will possess demonstrable knowledge of shipboard networks and systems and the requirements for Installation and Upgrade of Shipboard C4I networks.
Required Experience
· Minimum 2 yr. Shipboard Drawing Utilization experience.
· Minimum 1 yr. electronic communications equipment AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks toolset application drafting experience or coursework completed.
· BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (equivalent work and Trade School experience will be considered)
· Active T3 Security Clearance
Preferred experience:
· 6 years US Navy Shipboard Electronics cabling experience.
· 4 Years AutoCAD Application and/or SolidWorks Application experience.
· Active-Duty Navy Experience using C4I networks strongly desired.
