We are looking to add a new member to our team in the central Texas area.
The job is rewarding for those who enjoy being out on site at building projects, a degree of self determination on a daily basis, and working with testing equipment. It does involve heavy drive time around the metro area.
This can be a salaried full time position with health insurance, or an hourly part time position.
Experience with the following is helpful in this job:
1) HVAC and duct installation
2) Insulation
3) HVAC balancing
4) Building inspections

Job would involve:
1) Visual inspections on houses
2) Blower door and duct blaster testing on homes
3) Completion of paperwork on a per house basis for code, Energy Star, and HERS
4) Driving throughout metropolitan area and outlying areas
5) A large degree of independence and the responsibility that goes with that
6) Ability to pass certification tests over time
9) Ability to climb 6 foot ladders and to work in situations without heating and cooling on a regular basis is also necessary

Applicants with RESNET, BPI, NPI, or IECC certifications are ideal as well as those with experience balancing HVAC systems, installing insulation, air sealing buildings, and residential construction in general. We are willing to train inexperienced individuals as well.
Income negotiable based on experience. Income starts at $40,000 per year for a person new to the industry and needing full training. Certified individuals can make much more.
