Materials Manager

Core Responsibilities:

· Ensure the preservation and traceability of materials through proper storage and identification techniques

· Maintain adequate inventories of raw materials

· Plan and execute material handling operations to ensure a smooth flow of material during production processes

· Track, record, and analyze material-related defects and provide corrective and preventative action plans to ensure adequate vendor performance

· Receive, store and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, measuring devices, materials and/or supplies

· Ensure accurate assembly, upgrades, distribution and tracking of tool kits

· Maintains database of damaged, worn out or missing equipment

· Source and purchase tooling by securing best market prices

Required Skills:

• Ability to reach, grab, pull and stand for entirety of shift.

Job Requirements:

· High School Degree or Equivalent. Associate degree preferred.

· Physical Limitations: Work may require bending, lifting up to fifty (50) pounds, pulling, pushing, sitting, reaching, and standing for up to eight (8) hours per day.

· Minimum 2 years Material Handling Experience

· Minimum 2 years Supervisory Experience

Job Type:

· Full-time

· Salary Range: $26 - $30/hour

· Overtime available and sometimes required
