Detailer/Car Washer

Job Summary:
LeValley Chevrolet GMC is seeking a detail-driven and reliable Detailer/Car Washer to join our team at our Benton Harbor, Michigan location. This is a full-time hourly position in the Auto industry that requires an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness for our vehicles. The ideal candidate will have experience in car detailing and washing, and must be able to work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly position with a starting rate of $14 per hour. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.

Responsibilities:
- Wash, wax, and buff vehicles using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents
- Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors to remove stains and debris
- Clean and polish vehicle windows, mirrors, and chrome accents
- Perform minor repairs and touch-ups, such as buffing out scratches or applying touch-up paint
- Inspect vehicle surfaces for damage or imperfections and report any findings to management
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, including properly storing and disposing of all cleaning materials and supplies
- Follow all safety and company policies and procedures
- Communicate with team members and management to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as transporting vehicles to and from different locations and assisting with customer service

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in car detailing and/or washing preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with various car cleaning products and equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs and touch-ups
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
