Position would work 40 hours per week.

Coffee Shop is open 7am 3pm Monday through Saturday.

Position Description:
A seasoned lead to help oversee our farmers market operations to the highest possible standard, while also assisting in the Coffee Shop day-to-day operations as needed. The Farmers Market Lead is responsible for the overarching targets and goals of Farmers Market, as well maintaining all day-to-day operations.
Bonton Farms is the largest urban farm in the United States with two locations and over 40-acres in production. The leader requires experience in both a coffee house and small food retail operation, along with a customer-service attitude that also assists in coaching others on how to provide a supreme customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure farmers market is stocked with both retail items and produce. Communicate with farm team on stocking produce.
• Prepare online, wholesale, and special orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory of items on Stocky and alert manager when items need to be re-ordered.
• Maintaining the store organized and clean (no items on the floor, shelves stocked, no miscellaneous things laying around.
• Complete weekly and monthly inventory and transfer of goods from Presevatory and Farm Cooler on Stocky and Shopify.
• Assist in in-house projects such as making products, gift boxes, honey production, etc.
• Coach and train staff as applicable
• Create high caliber coffee, non-coffee beverages, and food items to patrons at Bonton Farms.
• Operate point of sale (POS) systems for the coffee house and farmers market.
• Uphold all health code and cleanliness standards for both locations.
• Assist in pop-up markets that are on-site and off-site, maintain pop-up inventory.
• Assist in coffee shop operations as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Two years working in the service or retail industry preferred.
