Position Overview:

As a Manufacturing Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products throughout the manufacturing process. You will work closely with production teams to implement and maintain quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and uphold compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular quality inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct detailed measurements, tests, and analyses using precision tools and equipment to evaluate product integrity and performance.
  • Identify and investigate quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of quality inspection results, test data, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Provide training and support to production personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including production managers, engineers, and quality assurance personnel, to address quality-related concerns and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality assurance or quality control role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production operations.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
