Pre-Owned Inventory Manager

Nucar Connection in New Castle, Delaware is looking for a new team member.

As a Pre-Owned Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the effective appraising, purchasing, pricing, reconditioning, and display of used car inventory to facilitate sales.

Primary Duties:

• Manage all pre-owned inventory.
• Appraise cars here for the store as well as purchase online or "off the street" any vehicle that shows a potential to turn a profit.
• Inspect and decide on newly acquired vehicles for retail or wholesale.
• Manage the used car inventory to ensure a sufficient supply & mix of retail ready used vehicles.
• Consult with the reconditioning teams to evaluate and control reconditioning activities and cost.
• To inspect inventory on display to optimize inventory turn rate and sales.

Position Requirements:

• Successful experience acquiring, pricing & reconditioning pre-owned vehicles.
• Effective communication with personnel and with department managers.
• Ability to navigate computer systems necessary for dealership records and auction information.
• Attendance and professional appearance are necessary.
• Experience with inventory management systems (i.e. V-Auto).
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience is preferred however it is not required.
• Meet goals as determined by dealership management.
• Aptitude for training personnel involved with procuring pre-owned inventory to maximize sales.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Pay: $65 to $80k per year based on experience
