DESCRIPTION Mental Health Specialist 1: $26.45 - $35.31 Hourly Mental Health Specialist 2: $31.39 - $41.95 Hourly These positions are eligible for sign-on compensation of $4,500! About the Position Lane County Behavior Health is looking for a Mental Health Clinician to join our Adult Outpatient Team serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness in a community mental health setting. This skilled experienced mental health professional provides evidence-based treatments and supports.

Day to day work includes providing assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy as well as some community outreach and crisis intervention. The work is done collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes mental health clinicians, peer support specialists, case managers, nursing and psychiatry as well as partner with other service providers in the community. For this recruitment we are looking for dedicated individuals with a passion to serve adults with severe and persistent mental health needs.

We work with community partners to provide a continuum of care from prevention through treatment and aftercare in an environment that promotes a culture of resilience and recovery. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm *This is an AFSCME represented position* QUALIFICATIONS Mental Health Specialist 1 Training & Experience: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a mental health field, psychology, counseling, social work or a related field.

One year of some experience working directly with mentally or emotionally disturbed clients in the provision of behavioral health services is highly desirable. Mental Health Specialist 2 Training & Experience: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a mental health field, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. Two years of responsible professional mental health experience, including one year of experience specific to the program or area of assignment.

An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Special Requirements: Transcripts License or QMHP Certification NPI Diploma CV or Resume For MHS1 - QMHP Certification or enrolled as Clinical Social Work Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate For MHS2 - Oregon Health Licensure required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist **Please provide a copy of your resume Notes: This position is subject to a full criminal offender information record check.
