Commercial Drywall Finisher & Painter

About the Position:

In this position, you will work as a Finisher/Painter will in conjunction with other job site team members to deliver construction projects safely, on schedule and within budget. The Finisher/Painter will be responsible for executing efficient production activities and duties as assigned by the project team. The successful candidate will have a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Work independently as a Drywall Finisher/Painter
• Ensure work is up industry and company standards
• Ensure that project safety measures are maintained at all times.
• Clearly communicate any concerns to the project team specific to project safety, quality and/or schedule.
• Assist other division of the organizations with drywall finishing and painting
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 2 years of experience working in the construction field on commercial jobs, required
• Some experience with exterior finishing systems a plus
• OSHA 10-Hour safety training preferred, OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour can be obtained after hire.
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.
• Comprehensive knowledge and practice of OSHA safety standards.
• General knowledge of carpentry work
• The ability to be a team player, and posses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to various job sites throughout the WNY region
