Senior Cloud Solutions Architect - 1953786

Mount Indie is in search of aSr. Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that meet our federal clients' business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to grasp their business objectives and technical requirements, transforming them into holistic cloud-based solutions.
• Provide design and architecture for scalable cloud solutions that are resilient and secure.
• Advise on cloud-native services, serverless computing, microservices architecture, containerization, and correlated technologies.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation to clearly communicate design and implementation methods.
• Lead technical discussions with cross-functional groups to make informed decisions regarding cloud technologies and solution design.
• Team with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud solutions.
• Assess and address risks linked to cloud solutions, such as security vulnerabilities, performance constraints, and scalability hurdles.
• Provide hands-on support during implementation and troubleshooting phases to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly
• A minimum of 10 years experience as a Cloud Architect, or similar role, providing cloud-based design and architecture.
• Proven experience creating, implementing, and leading AWS cloud infrastructure solutions at scale.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, serverless computing, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and related technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Strong programming/scripting skills with languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with and leading Agile development teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.
