Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team! You will provide Basic Life Support to patients and assist the paramedic within his or her scope of practice.

Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls calmly, efficiently, and promptly
Provide careful handling of the patient in moving him/her to and from the ambulance
Provide medical and emotional care within the scope of EMT certification to ill or injured patients
Communicate with dispatch, other emergency services as needed, and medical personnel at emergency treatment facilities

Qualifications:

Nationally registered as an EMT
Maintain state certification at the EMT level
Maintain valid driver's license and EMS Driver's credentials
Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
Ability to prioritize and multitask
