POSITION – 5-Axis Laser Programmer

JOB LOCATION – Sussex, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Contract-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift

STARTING PAY – $25 to $30 an hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – HS Diploma or Equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Minimum of 5 years of 5-axis programming experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage programming and priorities in the laser department.
• Program new part geometry for 5-axis laser cutting.
• Set-up laser fixtures and support operations in dialing in parts for accuracy and cosmetic acceptance.
• Rectify issues that arise which could compromise production results.
• Work to continuously improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of 5-axis programming experience is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software (ie Solidworks and Autocad)
• Must have understanding of RML/G-Code for editing and identifying.
