Leasing Agent

General Office Responsibilities:
  • Present vacant & occupied properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants to help secure rental agreement.
  • Market properties accurately and take professional photos and post through appfolio, rently and Carmls.
  • Sustain a 5% vacancy rate.
  • Establish rental rates by researching local markets and calculating costs to ensure fair and accurate pricing.
  • Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of customers in order to match those needs to a property.
  • Create and work guest cards.
  • Put out lockboxes and signs.
  • Complete pre-move out inspections.
  • Process Applications to approve the BEST tenant for the property.
  • Orientation scheduled for each tenant to take possession of the property.
  • Coordinate with maintenance on inspections and rent readies.
  • Oversee Lease renewals & tenant retention
  • Educate and procure tenants to become home buyers.
  • Solicit for new rentals to property mange.
  • Any other tasks required by management.
Leasing Agent Qualifications
  • Hold current Real Estate License or work to attain one.
  • Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
  • Past sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bi-lingual speaker/reader of Spanish/English a plus.

The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (ADWS) is the state agency responsible for providing job-related services to unemployed state residents, such as coordinating training and educational opportunities, processing unemployment insurance claims, and connecting job seekers with employment opportunities in the state.

The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services consists of four major sections: Workforce Services, Adult Education, Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, and Services for the Blind. Each section is responsible for administering multiple state and federal grants, the programs they fund, and the services they provide to Arkansans.
