Staff Accountant

We are a leading B2B supplier in the Beverage & Dessert Industry based in California. We expanded our warehouse to Missouri City, TX in August 2022. Our company is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Staff Accountant in our Missouri City Branch Office

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Support the senior accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

​Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Chinese is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with NetSuite is a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
