Job Description

Job Title: Gaming and Media Job Title: Visual Designer 1

Location: Remote

Schedule: Mondays - Fridays (40 hrs. per week)

Duration/Start Date: May 10, 2024 up to 18 months

1. Visual Design Experience (portfolio of branding for team/company) - 1-2 years of experience
2. Microsoft Tool Experience - 1-2 years of experience
3. UX Design Experience - 1-2 years of experience

1-2 overall years of experience in the field.
No degree or certifications required – experience is most important
Previous Microsoft employee/contractor is a huge plus. Also, we are still open to those who haven’t been a Microsoft employee/contractor if they have all the right skills.

Summary:

We’re seeking a visual designer to revitalize and produce a new visual identity for our org. This role is pivotal in shaping a platform for our operations and cohesive visual identity that resonates across our diverse teams in the Americas, India, and China, including engineering, PM, and design. The objective is to cultivate a vibrant, trusted people-first aesthetic that motivates our teams to embrace and act on our shared values and our unified vision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact the visual and functional aspects of how we operate, enhancing the way we connect and communicate within our global teams.

Qualifications:

Expert in using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other design software and tools.
Knowledgeable of web design standards, best practices, and accessibility guidelines.
Proven experience with Microsoft's design frameworks and brand systems.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design and SharePoint solutions.
Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Creative, innovative, and attentive to details. Agile worker able to meet tight deadlines.
Fluent in English, with high competency in both written and verbal communication.
