Overview

The Staff CPA is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns of varying complexity, including identifying and recommending tax strategies that better position the client through their deep understanding of tax law. This important role will require you to have a solid working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP, strong financial analysis skills, be detailed-oriented, highly organized and able to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

Preparing federal, state and local tax filings for individuals, partnerships, S-corps and other miscellaneous tax and information returns.
Maintaining engagement with clients and communicate internally with team members to share project status.
Preparing compiled and reviewed financial reports.
Maintain and reconciling balances sheet and general ledger accounts.
Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation
Current Oregon CPA license
2-5 Years of tax accounting experience
Self-directed and self-motivated
Proficient with general ledger functions
Proficient with month-end and year-end close process
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures, financial accounting statements and business trends
Experience with tax preparation software (Lacerte or similar)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM) with Fridays off June - December + OT during Tax Season

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 Annually + Full Benefits Package!
