Role Description:
The Project Manager manages key IT driven projects that span across multiple departments. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of IT involved and driven projects. Set and coordinate deadlines, responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of projects. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects.
The successful candidate will work directly with department heads and other team project managers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and aligned against resources and timelines.
The Project Manager needs to be familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Core Responsibilities:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of project management and related experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Healthcare related knowledge is preferred, not required
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master) preferred, not required
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- US work authorization
