Job Description
Schreiber Family Medicine is seeking an experienced, dependable, detail oriented Medical Assistant with excellent communication skills and computer skills. Health insurance and retirement plan available. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID. Our goal is to provide a health care facility where all patients, staff and clinicians feel well cared for and experience a sense of pride, community and teamwork in our shared project of achieving good health.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all job duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for prior authorizations, etc.
- Escort patients to exam rooms
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
