Registered Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist - 3 to 4 days per week - Flexible. We are open Monday-Thursday 8AM-4PM.

Licensed in the State of Colorado

Pueblo Dental is in search of a skillful, energetic, hard-working, team oriented Registered Dental Hygienist who will join our team of dental professionals. Excellent customer service and attention to detail are required for this position. Experience with Open Dental is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in the dental office
• Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Perform the duties of a dental hygienist, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, radiographs, intraoral photos, etc...
• Prophicient in giving anesthethia  
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Help out when needed, we are a very team-oriented office
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
  
  Skills
• Proven experience as dental hygienist
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
  
  Job Type: Part-time
  
  Pay: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour
