Prep Department Manager

Job Description : We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prep Manager to join our team. The Prep Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and detailing of vehicles for display and sale. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. Responsibilities : Supervise a team of prep technicians, detailers and porters to ensure efficient and timely completion of vehicle preparation tasks. Coordinate with sales and service departments to prioritize vehicle preparation based on customer demand and dealership objectives. Inspect vehicles for quality control and ensure they meet dealership standards for cleanliness and presentation. Train and mentor prep technicians on proper detailing techniques and dealership procedures. Manage inventory of detailing supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the prep area. Requirements : Previous experience in automotive detailing or vehicle preparation is not required but helps. Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
