Job Description and Requirements for:
Vehicle Prep/Detail/Battery
Summary of responsibilities:
This person is responsible for washing and detailing all received vehicles. You may be responsible for warehouse inventory and placement. You are responsible for doing this safely and responsibly. You may be required to work overtime.
Basic Employee responsibilities:
โ€ข Arrive to work on time per your required work schedule
โ€ข Always be courteous and respectful to fellow employees and customers
โ€ข Company equipment must be used for company purposes only
โ€ข Company vehicles must be operated safely and within their intended purpose
โ€ข Dress appropriately to your particular job duties and within the parameters of our current employee manual, (No open toed shoes in warehouse)
โ€ข Always pick up after yourself
โ€ข Keep your work area neat and clean
โ€ข Always ask questions if you are unsure
โ€ข Always check in and out with your direct supervisors at the beginning and end of your daily shift
Job specific responsibilities:
โ€ข Wash and Detail units
โ€ข Responsible for detail area
โ€ข Responsible for the relocation of detailed units to pre-condition report area
โ€ข Verify that the vehicles are labeled and have keys
โ€ข Verify that vehicles have enough fuel to process a condition report
โ€ข Attach, zip-tie, keys to units for security
โ€ข You must be able to lift 75 lbs.
โ€ข You must be able to maneuver and operate a 2 wheel motorcycle with expertise
โ€ข Must not be sensitive to chemicals, cleaners and fuel fumes
โ€ข You must be able to push a rolling 900lb motorcycle with relative ease
โ€ข Put correct air pressure in tires as needed
โ€ข Responsible for all company equipment and tools associated with Detail/Battery and Vehicle Prep
โ€ข Helping unload/load vehicles as needed
โ€ข Changing battery's as necessary
โ€ข Keep clean rags separated from dirty ones
โ€ข Responsible for the detailing of the auction cart on auction day
โ€ข Responsible for moving auction cart on auction day
