Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 based on experience

JOB SUMMARY: 

The primary role of the Assistant Clinical Director is to be a counterpart to the Clinical Director to ensure effective implementation of ABA programs by managing the clinical team, supporting daily tasks in the clinic and field, and assisting with vital decisions regarding the day-to-day operations of the clinic. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with clinical director to design, implement, and evaluate ABA programs.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures for high-quality ABA services.
  • Ensure individualized and best practice-aligned ABA programs.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of client programs and documentation for compliance.
  • Train and supervise BCBAs, BCaBAs, and ABA Interns.
  • Oversee training programs for clinical staff.
  • Review and provide feedback on treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company, state, federal, and BACB regulations.
  • Attend insurance authorization and peer review meetings.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for professional growth.
  • Lead clinical staff meetings and in-service training.
  • Manage a client caseload and submit required documentation.
  • Perform assessments to identify behavior functions.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans and goals.
  • Implement behavioral data systems for evaluation.
  • Provide caregiver training and attend relevant client meetings.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and caregivers.
  • Adhere to legal, professional, and ethical standards.
  • Stay updated on ABA principles and research.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Current Texas License and BCBA Certification and minimum of 2 years experience as a BCBA
  • Must demonstrate ability to lead, manage and oversee large clinical teams with strong knowledge of ABA principles, assessment tools, and intervention strategies. 
  • Must demonstrate thorough understanding of DTT, PECS, and other ABA strategies.
  • Must have knowledge of the use of assessment tools used in the evaluation of children.
  • Experience working directly with children with Autism and/or developmental delays is preferred.
  • Must possess strong presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Must possess highly effective team leadership skills.
  • Must display original thinking and creativity and meet challenges with resourcefulness and provide suggestions for improving work.
  • Physical ability to lift and transfer children (minimum 25 lbs.)
  • Ability to participate in handling and floor activities with children. 
  • Basic computer experience (Microsoft Office, excel, internet).
