Building Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
The Building Maintenance Technician at Lockhart Cadillac Fishers will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the dealership's facilities and equipment. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry located in Fishers, Indiana. The individual hired for this role will work independently as an individual contributor, and will be expected to possess a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills. This position will report to the Facilities Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Building Maintenance Technician will receive a competitive hourly wage in line with industry standards. This is a full-time position and includes eligibility for company benefits, including health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all areas of the dealership including the building, grounds, and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical systems
• Coordinate and oversee any outside contractors or vendors necessary for repairs or maintenance
• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Monitor and replenish supplies for the dealership, including light bulbs, air filters, and cleaning products
• Assist in keeping the interior and exterior of the dealership clean and presentable
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Communicate any potential safety hazards or concerns to management
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in a facilities maintenance or related role
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
• Proven experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a maintenance setting
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
