Modern Group Power Systems is currently seeking an Aftermarket Sales Representative to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the sales of stand-by power solutions which include generators, switchgear and associated technology throughout the DC, Maryland, & Northern Virginia areas,

Essential Duties:
- B2B Sales and techincal sales is a must
- Execute the sales of stand-by power generators and other technologies to customers in a defined sales area.
- Provide pre-sale technical assistance when reviewing project requirements.
- Prepare quotes based on technical specifications. Present to the customer and negotiate terms of the sale.
- Must be able to read and understand drawings and specifications..
- Participate in industry tradeshows, networking engagements and other industry events.
- Manage pricing, product/service mix, and margins according to agreed upon expectations.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Requirements:
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communications and organizational skills are required as well as the ability to build relationships with a variety of individuals with different backgrounds.
- Computer skills should include both MS Office and CRM experience.
- Ability to identify and exceed customer expectations while managing a high volume of workload
