Description:

NON-EXEMPT. This position is responsible for executing research and development testing at the DSSI Laboratory.

DUTIES:

May include any or all of the following:

Preparing Instructions, data tables, and testing methodologies for R&D related activities.
Preparing standards and chemicals needed for testing and analyses.
Completing testing procedures in the lab independently.
Preparing samples and completing paperwork for shipments/analysis.
Calibration and minor repair of instrumentation and tools used in the laboratory.
Mathematical computation of data and results for reporting.
Report findings to R&D Team.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Enrolled in college in Engineering, Science, or related field.
Proficient with Microsoft

Will work in a dynamic working environment, normally 40 hours per week. Will work about equally in an office-type environment and in a laboratory setting which could involve safe handling and close proximity to hazardous and/or radioactive chemicals and waste.
