We are seeking an experienced and driven Tax Manager to lead tax compliance engagements within our dynamic Accounting team at our Oklahoma City office. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Tax Compliance Engagements: Direct and manage comprehensive tax compliance engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, and overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of client tax returns.
  
• Ensure Accuracy and Compliance: Review and evaluate work done by tax associates to guarantee precision and compliance with all applicable laws.
  
• Client Representation: Represent clients during Federal and State tax audits, safeguarding their interests and ensuring favorable outcomes.
  
• Tax Research and Planning: Conduct detailed federal tax research and provide strategic tax planning services on significant projects such as R&D Credits and Net Investment Income Tax issues.
  
• Team Leadership and Training: Lead, train, and provide performance feedback to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Client Accounting and Assurance departments to deliver comprehensive financial solutions that meet client needs.
  

• Professional Certification: CPA or EA license, or ability to obtain one within the first year (company-sponsored incentive program available).
  
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  
• Experience: At least 4 years of tax experience in a public accounting environment, with a proven track record in managing tax engagements.
  
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaborative skills are essential. Must have a strong internal drive to meet deadlines and management objectives.
  
• Six Sigma Certification: Desirable but not required; training provided if necessary.
