Job Description

1st Shift - Forklift Operator - $18-$19/hr - Byron Center, MI

Come work for a company that buys and sells new, used, and reconditioned pallets!

Preferred Skills:

Select customer orders to specifications from warehouse and load onto trailer
Must be able to retrieve and stack product safely using the appropriate equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor. This includes dismantling and refurbishing processes for the pallets.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to lift between 30-40 lbs for an entire shift
Work overtime as required based on business demands, sometimes on short notice
Be a dependable team player
Have a strong attention to detail

In this role candidates will be unloading/loading trucks. You will be responsible for separating empty drums to store or ship to specific customers. You will also be responsible for sorting through pallets and organizing them based on quality in the proper location for each.
