Quality Inspector (Aerospace/manufacturing)

The Quality Inspector (Aerospace/manufacturing) will be primarily responsible for meticulously examining parts, assemblies, and finished products to verify they meet exact specifications and quality standards set by engineering drawings, blueprints, and industry regulations. This involves visual inspection for defects but may also include using specialized measuring tools and performing tests.

The Quality Inspector (Aerospace/manufacturing) is responsible for ensuring non-compliant materials or parts are flagged and don't make it into the final product. This might involve writing reports and initiating corrective actions for discrepancies found. The Quality Inspector will keep detailed records of inspections and test results and will meticulously document findings to ensure traceability and accountability.

The Quality Inspector (Aerospace/manufacturing) will represent the Company and its values and will ensure that the expectations of the Company’s customers are exceeded by performing the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret mechanical drawings.

2. Perform incoming inspection of hardware and raw stock.

3. Verify hole and feature layouts to drawings using various measuring tools.

4. Perform in-process inspection.

5. Conduct and monitor testing and inspection requirements.

6. Perform final inspection.

7. Collect statistical data as required.

8. Document nonconformance.

9. Support internal audits.

4. Limited experience, or no aerospace experience

5. Individual contributor that requires significant supervisor input to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma/GED

2. Minimum two years related component and/or in process inspection experience, or

3. Minimum one years related aerospace component and/or in process inspection experience.

Work Environment Requirements:

1. Full-Time Position.

2. Warehouse and manufacturing environment.
