Esthetician-part time

Position Summary

Revitalize U Med Spa and Salon is searching for a talented esthetician to join our team! Estheticians will provide skincare expertise in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of salon and medical staff. This position will provide services to new and returning guests to improve the look and feel of their skin and facial features. Their duties include overseeing quality of aesthetic services performed by estheticians, consult with clients to select appropriate treatments, ensuring a sanitary environment before a procedure and offering treatments such as facials, extractions, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, waxing, lash extensions and other services. Develop skills to perform additional aesthetic services offered within appropriate scope of practice.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform aesthetic services according to training and certifications.
• Ensure quality assurance of aesthetic services offered in the practice.
• Recommend treatment options to new and return clients.
• Ensure adherence to infection control standards.
• Maintain high quality customer service
• Demonstrate merchandise according to company guidelines and product knowledge.
• Assist with supply ordering, merchandising and stocking.
• Ensure appropriate training for new staff and/or new aesthetic services performed by estheticians.
• Attend off-site device training as needed.
• Collaborate with leaders and providers and make recommendations for operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with leaders to maintain esthetician service hours and access

Education Requirements

• High school diploma
• Esthetician certification
• Current state licensure

Experience Requirements

• Esthetician experience: 3 year preferred
• Customer service experience: 3 year required
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Scheduling experience preferred

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in a medical setting
• Experience budgeting and ordering supplies
