Purpose:

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is part of the Patient Service Center Implementation team. The BSA is both an internal facing and client facing role that is responsible for managing the build and implementation of new client service systems as well as enhancements to existing systems. This role will define system requirements, partake in solution design and build, develop project plans, workflow management and own implementation processes. This person should be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work within a team environment. The ideal candidate is well versed in IT product development, program operations and has exposure to HUB workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines that support business objectives in collaboration with senior leadership, client, business and technical stakeholders.
  • Understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Conduct impact analysis of configuration/enhancement requests and communicate impact and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify system problems, explore potential solutions, design and implement solutions.
  • Participate in system and data validation efforts, requirements gathering, and including point-to-point and end-to-end scenario testing.
  • Collaborate with Operations team to understand user needs and propose system solutions
  • Review client and operational requests, develop project requirements, and coordinate product development and implementation in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate the impact of a solution on the system and workflow.
  • Provide training guidance and operational support with technology enhancements.
  • Conduct post-implementation retrospect, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for future enhancements.
  • Partner with project managers to ensure milestones are met.
  • Lead the development of project documentation and ensure implementation milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Promote and cultivate meaningful and professional interactions among team members
  • Develop a deep knowledge of HUB workflows and operational processes
  • Supports implementation activities across the team to ensure successful launch of projects

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor degree or relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing healthcare workflow solutions
  • Previous experience in product development and/or implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in specialty pharmacy, healthcare setting, and/or HUB services
  • Experience with project management and/or systems testing
  • Experience building solutions with clients and vendors
