Fabricator

Role Description:

Performs tasks necessary to fabricate, assemble, and complete multi-step processes related to thermoformed products. This job can differ from day to day. The job responsibilities may differ significantly depending on the organizational needs this person will present a positive and professional image for the organization.

What you’ll do:

• Read and interpret spec drawings, schematic designs and internal orders to determine appropriate set-up, production method, and sequence of operation
• Fabricate and assemble plastic products utilizing techniques to cut, form, drill, bend, and shape plastic to meet precise design specifications
• Precision hand-crafting to assemble parts and complete production
• Fabricate thermoplastic items per production order and print
• Ensure proper setup of machines and parts required
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Able to navigate stairs and ladders.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Bending, twisting, crouching, and kneeling.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing environment where the employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and weather. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and sometimes noisy. There will be times when it is required to enter loud areas
