Data Analyst (Jr. - Mid)

TechConnect is seeking a Data Analyst for a cutting-edge technology company in Tulsa, OK. Our client is looking for an individual with a proven track record as a data analyst, working with data analysis tools and selection, experience with multiple databases and industry best practices.

In this role you need a keen eye for detail as you will create reports, track industry changes, run queries and work with large amounts of data. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and analyzing reports, troubleshooting data issues, tracking changes, processing confidential data/information according to industry guidelines and partially managing the data tables (create, read, update, delete).
• Providing quality assurance for imported data, commission/decommission data sets, generating reports from single and/or multiple systems and assisting with the design of statistical models to fit data trends.
• Evaluating changes/updates to source production systems, supporting the data warehouse by identifying/revising reporting requirements and support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
• Playing a key role in training users on newly released reports/dashboard views, working with stakeholders to evaluate potential risks, assist QA’s, provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, data cleansing and assist in strategic planning for new systems.
• Manage, troubleshoot, design revisions to the reporting environment to include data sources, security, metadata reviews and test/implement new and/or upgraded software.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in data analysis with demonstrated ability to query data tables primarily using SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IS, Business Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited university.
• Experience with methodologies/processes for managing large-scale databases, handling large data sets and relational databases.
• Ability to analyze current tools/databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• Ability to work with data engineering team and understand internal data submission standards.
• Preferred: Experience with Redshift database.
• Preferred: Ability to work with/comprehend the basics of JavaScript and HTML.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills to assist users and translate business requirements into non-technical terms.
• Excellent problem solving skills with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

Work Location & Hybrid Work Environment

• Tulsa, OK Office.
• Hybrid work situation: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Monday, Wednesday, Friday (company has some flexibility on the hybrid schedule).
