LVN / LPN - LTC

Position: LPN/LVN LTC

Location: Seattle, WA 98108

Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Pay: - 0/hour

The LPN / LVN participates, coordinates, and provides direct nursing care in a manner which ensures participant's satisfaction and retention. Assists with medication orders and delivery, coordinating with the physician, RN, transportation and home care. Assists physicians and nursing staff with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to vital signs, wound care, medication administration/management, treatments, patient teaching, venipuncture and microcoagulation, catheter care foot care, administration/reading PPD tests and participant set up for physician visit. Performs duties in a variety of settings including the community, the Center, and the Clinic. May be asked to perform duties on weekends.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Experience in Outpatient clinic or acute care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with neonatal ventilators and experience in caring for newborns is a plus.
• Proficiency in administering injections, including Botox injections, is desired.
• Knowledge of family planning methods and counseling is beneficial.

Licenses and certifications:

• Valid LPN license of state WA.
• BLS.
• Covid card.
