RDE Maintenance Services 

Position Description: Porter

Do you like to work outside year-round?  This position is dedicated to servicing the porter responsibilities on off-site small multi-family properties and residential property as assigned. It also includes light maintenance repairs. Other duties may be assigned based on company needs. This position is under the direction of the Regional Manager 
Cleans grounds and removes litter.
 Spreads salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup in areas applicable.
 Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash.
 Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
 Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
 Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
 Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.

Responsible for light maintenance/ repairs
Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.

Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies and property community policies. ·Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 years working in the apartment industry with related experience or training.
 
 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
 

Knowledgeable in the use of technology  smart phone, tablet Microsoft office, slack 
 

40 hours – can arrange to work flexible hours /no overtime
