Position Overview:

This exempt role reports directly to the Managing Director. Responsible for territory management relating to establishing and maintaining relationship with a network of architects, designers, and commercial dealers for the specification/selection of Mermet fabrics on commercial projects. Interacts with Customer Service and Manufacturing on potential and existing projects and assists the Managing Director in developing programs related to marketing, product development, and sales tools.

What you'll do

Establish and maintain an architect, designer, and commercial dealer network.
Point person to the architect, designer, and commercial dealer community for Mermet.
Track and report Mermet's commercial specification rates and revenue.
Track, manage and follow up on all commercial leads and sample requests, through the Mermet website and third-party tools.
Create commercial specification rate growth plans.
Develop technical fabric training tools and CEUs.
Provide technical fabric information and selection guidance to architects, designers, commercial fabricators, and commercial dealers on a project-by-project basis.
Identify and propose involvement in industry associations such as AIA, CSI, Neocon, etc.
Provides technical training to architects, designers, commercial fabricators and commercial dealers on new and existing product offerings, certifications, specifications, solar KPIs and CEUs.
Distribution of samples and sales tools to architects, designers, and commercial dealers.
Partner and coordinate with the Mermet outside sales team on customer training, events, projects, and other activities.
All other duties as assigned

Who you are

Preferred to reside in the North Carolina or South Carolina area.
Four-year college degree preferred.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous commercial product specification experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel a must. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for training, trade shows, and meet with customers, commercial dealers,architects and designers.
Multi-tasking abilities are essential.
Clean driving record.
Trilingual (French/Spanish/English) a plus.
