Cashier/Data Entry Clerk

Job Summary: The Cashier/Data Entry checks in route drivers daily, receiving invoices and money from the drivers assigned routes. The Cashier then processes the receipts making sure everything is in balance and prepares for the bank deposit. This position is responsible for processing the sales reps recap of orders and making/adding anything needed. It is required that the company computer is closed nightly as well.

Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Check in drivers making sure money and invoices balance.
• Distribute paychecks.
• Processing any invoices and special invoices as needed
• Inventory adjustments/input as necessary
• Data Entry of multiple forms
• Posting cash payments to AR as needed
• Fast Paced Environment

• Occasional special projects

Required Skills/Abilities:

This job requires the use of a 10 key adding machine with proficiency in general math. Knowledge of office equipment including a copy machine and fax machine is helpful, along with a general knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing systems. The ability to communicate to the driver through the cashier window when there is a high noise level is necessary as is staying calm when working with the driver. Good organization and customer service skills are a must along with the ability to work under pressure meeting required deadlines. Must be able to speak, understand and write the English language. Must have knowledge of basic computer applications. Must attend all required Anheuser-Busch and Nevada Beverage Company training courses. The ability to sit, stand, and walk is required as well as minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. The work environment characteristics are representative of those found in a normal office environment with low to moderate noise level.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma required; proficiency in math is necessary.
