CNC Mill Machinist

Staff Source has a CNC Mill Operator position open for a customer located in Detroit, MI. The shift is from 4pm to 12am and is contract to hire.
Responsibilities:
· 1-4 years experience in an active CNC Operating role
· Good math and mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to learn and grow
· Introductory understanding of G & M codes
· Candidate must be able to read and use inspection equipment & tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Etc)
· Read and interpret documents including process sheets, blueprints, sketches, and work orders
· Load and unload parts into fixtures for machining purposes and deburring
· Ability to edit programs at CNC control as needed
· Vertical CNC Available
· Horizontal CNC Available
· Experience with Cranes and Forklifts
