Position Overview: As a Full-Time Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), you will play a crucial role in our outpatient center, providing counseling, support, and guidance to individuals seeking recovery from addiction. You will work closely with clients to develop treatment plans, facilitate group sessions, and provide ongoing support to promote lasting recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions using evidence-based approaches to address addiction and related issues.
• Facilitate group counseling sessions focused on various aspects of addiction recovery.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure integrated care and support for clients.
• Provide education and support to clients' families and loved ones as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) or equivalent credential required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a counselor in addiction treatment or related field.
• Strong understanding of addiction counseling principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
