Staff Accountant Hybrid

TGG Accounting has partnered with a fast-growing organization in San Diego, working in the real estate industry. They are looking to add a Staff Accountant to their new team.

We are currently seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join as a Junior Accountant

Position Summary: The Staff Accountant is a mid level position that supports a senior accounting department in various tasks, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable (A/P) and receivable (A/R), performing reconciliations, participating in month-end close processes, and conducting financial analysis
2. This position offers a robust platform for professional growth in the field of real estate accounting
3. Key Responsibilities: Handle daily A/P and A/R transactions and ensure the accuracy of entries
4. Perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate records
5. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
6. Provide financial analysis and support budgeting processes if needed
7. Collaborate with team members on financial reporting and compliance

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with accounting software (Quickbooks, Sage100 or NetSuite)
• MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
