Civil Engineer, PE - Land Development

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is actively seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer / Project Manager to spearhead project engineering efforts encompassing all facets of planning and design for commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects across the dynamic greater Seattle marketplace.

Our ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing land development projects. This experience should span various aspects, including site design, underground utilities (comprising streets, sewer systems, water infrastructure, and storm drains), as well as rough and final grading, and hydraulic calculations. Proficiency in developing both conceptual and final designs, developing project cost estimates, managing budgets, conducting project scheduling, and managing client relationships while effectively coordinating with city agencies and consultants to secure project approvals is essential.

As the Civil Engineer / Project Manager, you will take on the pivotal role of leading all civil design activities related to a diverse portfolio of land development projects within the marketplace. You will not only provide comprehensive technical design leadership/oversight but also manage client relationships to ensure the efficient completion of projects within budgetary and timeline constraints.
Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. You must be a registered Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in the state of Washington. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with strong staff leadership skills, are prerequisites for success in this role.
