Role Description

FGF Sourcing is on the lookout for a dedicated Clerk to join our team in Levittown, PA. This pivotal role centers around creating a welcoming and organized environment for our drivers and visitors. You will be instrumental in managing the reception area, overseeing the sign-in and sign-out processes, and ensuring a smooth operational flow through meticulous administrative support. Your responsibilities will extend to maintaining critical documentation, precisely inputting data into our systems, and facilitating effective communication between clients, drivers, and management on the production floor. Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome drivers and visitors, managing their initial reception and the sign-in/sign-out process to ensure a smooth entry and departure.
  • Execute administrative tasks with precision, including data entry and document management, to support overall office operations.
  • Oversee the accurate and efficient handling of all shipping and receiving paperwork, maintaining records, and adjusting schedules as necessary.
  • Foster effective communication and coordination with clients, drivers, and management to ensure operational cohesion on the production floor.
  • Manage both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring they are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Generate and maintain detailed reports, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of your work.
  • Cultivate a positive and engaging work environment, using your warm demeanor and proactive approach to assist colleagues and enhance office culture.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, maintaining high levels of organization and time management even in fast-paced settings.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, creating spreadsheets, and utilizing functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas. Testing on Excel proficiency will be conducted.
  • At least 3 years of experience with standard administrative practices such as filing, data entry, document management, and basic financial processes including invoicing and billing.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities coupled with a friendly, customer-oriented demeanor, enabling effective interactions with diverse teams, drivers, and visitors.
  • Keen precision in handling data, documentation, and coordination tasks, ensuring accuracy and reliability in every operation.
  • Strong capability to identify and resolve issues promptly, particularly in administrative and coordination contexts.
  • A proven customer-focused approach, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, supporting team and departmental goals.
  • Must own steel toe boots; other personal protective equipment will be provided by the company.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
