Caregiver for Autism Teenager

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Autism Care Specialist to join our team. This position involves working closely with teenage clients who are on the autism spectrum, providing them with the support and care they need to thrive in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the challenges and strengths of individuals with autism and will be committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and adaptive environment.

Compensation:

• W-2, Hourly Rate: $20/hr. Overtime opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Caregiver and provide one-on-one support to teenage clients with autism, focusing on their specific needs.
• Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, and social interactions.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a caregiver, specifically working with individuals with autism, preferably teenagers.

Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and the various therapeutic techniques used in managing them.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with teenagers, families, and team members.

Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine interest in making a positive impact in the lives of others.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Must pass a thorough background check and have a valid driver’s license.
