We're looking for a CDL Trainer, working in the Electric Power & Natural Gas industry in San Diego, California, United States.
- Servicing all commodities of company
- Great opportunity to network
- Prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Prepare classroom and range for class activities
- Will lead training out at Miramar location - walk them through the different parts of the facilities
- They will take their trainees out into the road and will be the passenger within the vehicle (won’t be the one operating the vehicle ever)
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
- Stationed where their fleet department is
- Starts as a CDL and an opportunity to learn heavy equipment after their contract
- If they want to extend their knowledge they are happy to complete
- 5+ years of experience (semi driving or training)
- Instructor experience would be a plus
- CDL license for 1+ years
- Large equipment – dozer, digging equipment, heavy machinery
