Primary Purpose
This role is a mix between setting up of test systems to validate and troubleshoot customer complaints, installations and repairs on job sites, providing remote and in-person support to customers as needed. This role also requires to be on the on-call shift rotation, which is currently, every 2 weeks. There are times in which the person in this role is traveling/overnight stays for several days at a time, M-F.
**This is not an IT support role**
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Experience with low voltage systems, Nurse Call, access control systems, CCTV
• Strong knowledge of electronics, system cabling, and usage of digital voltmeters
• Good understanding of wiring diagrams, preferred (relay logic, Sub nets, and VLAN’s)
• Ability to configure and edit network setting on various hardware environments
• VMware and system virtualization, deployment, and setup
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Eligible and authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to be on-call and travel to various worksites within Texas and the US as needed (currently on a two-week rotation)
