Service Shop Foreman

If you're reading this listing then you understand this is for a Shop Foreman position with United RV, here in Fort Worth. We are seeking a qualified Shop Foreman to manage our fast paced shop Monday through Friday. This is a full time position, managing 9 technicians and working with additional department managers to take care of our customers as quickly as possible, and while providing the highest levels of quality when it comes to the finished product.

United RV is a 65+ year old, third generation, family owned, RV dealership here in Fort Worth. We are very well known throughout the industry and the local RV community in which we serve. We offer our customers a endless array of services with some of the best techs in the industry. We are constantly pushing ourselves and our staff to get the most out of them on behalf of our customers who rely on these services. We sell new & used RVs which means our Service Department is responsible for prepping those units, and then we have the other side of the business which is retail. These would be new and existing customers seeking various repairs and or parts / accessories installed on their RV. As stated above, this position is only Monday through Friday as the shop is closed on Saturday and the dealership is closed on Sunday. Hours will be 8AM until 5PM. This is an hourly compensated position, with the opportunity for a twice a month bonus when the techs meet their pay-cycle goal. Bonus is $500 per pay cycle for the Shop Foreman position. Hourly pay will be based off of your experience, references, and knowledge of this position. United RV offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.

We are looking for the right candidate that understands the dynamic of a high volume Service Department, someone with experience managing employees, managing company assets, managing materials, managing parts & accessories, understands the important of training / cross-training, can form a great bond with our technicians & customers base, computer efficient, and more. We will train you on the software we use currently. We are in the process of moving to tablets / mobile app for our technicians. We have a SOP for this position, and a number of processes in place to make the job as efficient as possible. It's not an easy job, or everyone would be doing it, but if you have experience (automotive, boat, power sports, and or RV industry) then you understand most all of what is listed out here. It'll be just a matter of you learning the "United RV way" of performing your tasks, and the very unique relationship that this Service Department has with the local RVing community.
