Job Title: Quality Supervisor
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Key Details:

• Shift: 2nd shift (4:30 pm – 3:30 am EST) from Monday to Thursday.
• Overtime: Occasional pre-scheduled Fridays based on seniority and hours.

Responsibilities: This role entails supervising 30-100 employees in a manufacturing environment, overseeing both high-volume production and low-volume complex work cells. Specific duties include:

• Developing and leading a team to achieve operational, quality, and continuous improvement goals through training, coaching, discipline, and effective communication.
• Advocating for the use of continuous improvement tools to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, improve quality, and minimize scrap.
• Successfully implementing product and engineering changes.
• Ensuring strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety policies and initiatives, prioritizing safety when assigning work.
• Monitoring work order progress to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Maintaining accurate timecards and overtime records.
• Cultivating a positive working relationship with the union by adhering to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Production/Manufacturing: Overseeing quality in-process and final inspection processes for fabrication and assembly.

Safety Protocols: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations including the use of safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, and sleeves.

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to motivate and lead employees effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and capability to multitask in a dynamic setting.
• Proficiency in using software applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
