Job Description

Join an organization devoted to improving the health and wellness of all people. Express Employment Professionals is looking for an Accounting Clerk to help one of Hawaii’s non-profit Health Centers. You will be responsible for accounting clerk functions, by updating and organizing contractual agreements. This opportunity includes excellent benefits and compensation up to $40k.

Responsibilities:

Review bank accounts for electronic funds transfers from medical and dental insurance carriers tracing back entries to the paper or electronic remittance advice (RAs). Utilizes Clearinghouse interface to pull down ERA documentation.
Prepares daily deposit slips for cash and check receipts and delivers the deposits to the bank.
Maintaining and reporting Continuing Medical Education (CME) expenditures to the Chief Medical Officer and Providers.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Accounting preferred
Experience with other software modules such as accounts receivables, purchase orders, orders, payroll, and/or encumbrances preferred
Two-Step Tuberculosis clearance required
Proof of full vaccination and booster against COVID-19 required
